Privacy notice

What we do with your data.

Short version: we use what you send us to answer your enquiry and run your relocation. Nothing else, and nobody else.

This notice follows the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) and, where it applies, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1. Who we are

Bloom Seville is the trading name of Bloomseville Office Administrative Services, registered with the Philippine Department of Trade and Industry (Business Name No. 8435709), Ungka II, Pavia, 5001 Iloilo, Philippines. Our Data Protection Officer is Charlene Ninia Mangalindan Cruz.

2. What we collect

  • Your contact details and the answers you give in our forms: who is moving, where you live now, your nationality, your plans for school, study and home.
  • The documents your case needs once you are a client.
  • Your messages, by email, WhatsApp or on a call.
  • Anonymous daily totals of how the site is used, with no cookies.

Your nationality and age are sensitive personal information under the Data Privacy Act. We ask for them only with your consent in the form, and we hold health records, such as a vaccination record, only with your explicit consent.

3. How we use it

  • To answer your enquiry and deliver our services: your consent, and our contract with you.
  • To keep accounting and tax records: the law.
  • To keep a record of our work in case of a claim: our legitimate interest.

We do not use your data for marketing unless you ask us to.

4. Who we share it with

We never sell, rent or trade your data. We share it only with the services that run our work (hosting, email, calendar and payments), our accountant, and, when your case needs it, schools, lawyers, gestors, sworn translators and Spanish authorities, sharing only what each step needs.

5. Across borders

Your data may be handled in the Philippines, Spain and other countries where our providers are, including the United States. Data leaving the EU is covered by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

6. How long we keep it

  • Financial records: 7 years, as tax rules require.
  • Your client record (our agreement, the work we did and our messages): 5 years after our services end, in case either of us needs it for a claim.
  • Passports, medical records, school reports and other sensitive documents: up to 1 year after your case closes. Medical records go sooner, once the application they were for is decided.
  • Messages and enquiries that do not become work: 12 months after the last contact.

After that, we delete it or make it anonymous, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.

7. Keeping it safe

Only the people working on your case can open your file, and we ask for documents through your private page rather than by email. No system is perfectly secure.

8. Children

We hold information about a child only when their school place or move needs it, and only from their parent or guardian.

9. Cookies

This site uses no cookies. The assessment keeps your answers, a referral code from a referral link, and the social platform a link was posted on, in that browser tab only, so a refresh does not lose them; closing the tab clears them. Clients' private pages keep a sign-in token in the browser for 14 days, or until they sign out.

10. Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, delete, limit the use of or take a copy of your data, object to its use, and withdraw consent at any time. We reply within one month. You can also complain to the National Privacy Commission of the Philippines (privacy.gov.ph) or, in the EU, to your data protection authority (in Spain, aepd.es).

11. Changes

We may update this notice. The date below shows the latest version, and we email clients about changes that affect them.

12. Contact

For any privacy question or request, contact Ninia at [email protected].
