Terms of service

How we work together.

The terms on which we work with you. Your signed agreement sets out exactly what your package includes; these terms sit alongside them.

Who we are

Bloom Seville is an education and relocation advisory for families and students moving to Seville. The business behind it, and its registration, are set out in our legal notice.

We are not a school, a government office, a consulate, a law firm, a gestoría or an estate agency, and we are not connected to any of them. Where your case needs one of those, we refer you to a licensed professional.

What we promise, and what we cannot

We promise the work: the right schools, your points mapped, a complete file, sent on time, and someone on the ground in Seville.

We cannot promise any outcome that someone else decides. That includes:

  • a school place, which the school or the Junta de Andalucía decides;
  • a visa or a residence card, which the consulate or the Spanish authorities decide;
  • a home, which the landlord decides;
  • appointment dates and how long any office takes.

Rules and requirements change, sometimes without notice. Any timeline we give you is our best estimate.

What is included

What you get is what your package and any add-ons include, as confirmed in writing before anything starts. Unless your agreement says otherwise, we do not:

  • give legal or tax advice, or prepare tax returns;
  • represent you before a consulate, a court or a public office;
  • handle visas other than student visas;
  • handle recognition of foreign qualifications (homologación or convalidación), which we refer to a partner;
  • pay anything on your behalf.

What we need from you

  • Information and documents that are true, complete and up to date.
  • A read of every form before you sign or send it.
  • A passport that stays valid for the whole move.
  • A reply to our requests within three working days, so dates are not missed.
  • Attendance at any appointment that has to be in person.
  • A message as soon as anything changes: dates, address, job, family or documents.

We work from what you give us. If a document turns out to be false or misleading, we stop the work at once, and no refund is due.

Fees and payment

  • Prices are in US dollars, fixed, and confirmed in writing before we start. Each additional child is priced separately.
  • Packages are paid in two installments: 50% when you sign, and 50% at the midpoint named in your agreement.
  • The discovery call is $49, paid within 24 hours of booking. An unpaid booking is released after that. On P2 and P3 it is credited in full against the first installment if you sign within 20 days of the call.
  • Third-party costs are paid by you directly: rent, deposits, school fees, government fees, lawyers, gestors and contractors. The move-in general clean in P2 and P3 is the one cost included.
  • Add-ons are quoted before they are added.

Cancelling, and refunds

  • The discovery call: cancel within 24 hours of paying and the $49 is refunded, less the transfer fee. After that, or if you miss the call, it is kept.
  • After signing, before any work starts: a full refund if you cancel within 7 days.
  • After work has started: the refund follows how much of your plan is done. Each main requirement on your plan counts equally, and each counts by how far it has got: if your plan has 10 main requirements and, on average, they are 40% complete, 40% of the package fee has been earned. We refund what you have paid beyond that. Third-party costs already committed are not refundable.
  • The outcome: your fee pays for the work of applying, not for a result. No refund is due because a school, a consulate or a landlord says no.

Ask for a refund in writing to [email protected]. We reply within 15 working days.

Other professionals

Some parts of a move are done by people we introduce or coordinate: sworn translators, lawyers, gestors, schools, landlords, insurers, banks and our field agents. They work under their own terms. We choose them with care, but we are not responsible for their fees, their errors or their delays.

Our guides and posts

Our website, guides, videos and social posts are general information. They are not advice for your case, which we give only once we know it.

How we keep in touch

By contacting us you agree that we may reply by email, WhatsApp, phone or your private page. Keep your contact details up to date with us.

Our materials

Your scope, reports and guides are for your own move. Please do not copy, share or resell them without our written permission.

Our liability

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, lost income, travel costs, missed appointments, decisions or delays by public authorities or schools, or the acts of other professionals. Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us for the service it concerns in the 12 months before it arose. Nothing here limits a right that the law does not allow us to limit.

Ending the work

We may pause or end the work if a document is false, if payment is not made, if we cannot get the cooperation the work needs, or if anyone on our team is treated with abuse. You pay for the work done up to that day, and we return any original documents you ask for.

The law, and disagreements

These terms are governed by the law of the Philippines. The processes we help you through, such as school admissions, tenancies and registration, follow Spanish law whoever advises you.

If something goes wrong, tell us first and we will try to put it right within 30 days. If we cannot agree, we will try mediation before going to court. If you are a consumer, you can also bring proceedings where you live, and nothing here takes that right away.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will email clients about any change that matters to them. The terms in your signed agreement apply to your engagement.
